Intention

Continuing with fragmented compositional components I worked in 3D. The bra was created using cutouts of fashion magazines as hexagons to mimic DNA to reference the idea of natural body form. Fashion magazines symbolize common media representations of body expectations. The variation in text and color fields of the rolled pages adds a visual complexity in the colors shown. My approach of the hexagon and the magazine cutouts reinforce my intention of placing outside judgements onto my own body.
